P. Nedvedas: "Juventus" hopes to extend contract with Allegri

"Juventus" Vice President Pavel Nedved revealed that after another successful season, the club hopes to extend the contract with head coach Massimiliano Allegri.

After winning the "Serie A" and "Coppa Italia" in the first two years, this year the specialist again leads the "bianconeri" to the top of the Italian championships, and they have already reached the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League.

In the previous stage of this tournament, "Juve" eliminated the "Barcelona" club and will now compete for a spot in the final against "Monaco."

"We want him - he is doing well, and during previous contract extensions, I clearly stated that he is doing a good job and we are happy to continue working with him," Nedved told Mediaset Premium.

"We want to continue working with him, and he, on his part, must be happy and certain that he wants to be with 'Juve.' There should be no problems arising (regarding the extension of the contract - ed. note)."

In the "Serie A" championship, "Juventus" surpasses the "Roma" footballers who are in second place by eight points. There are six rounds left until the end of the season.
