Former "Manchester United" defender Phil Neville doesn't understand why Nemanja Matic was easily sold from London's "Chelsea" team.
P. Neville argues that whoever decided to sell the midfielder should be immediately fired.
"Why did Chelsea underestimate it? One word. Matic. It's simple. The moment they decided to sell Matic, it was clear that it was a mistake.
When you had Matic placed alongside N'Golo Kante, you always had protection. Whoever decided to sell him should be fired. It's one of the worst decisions I've seen in the Premier League," complained P. Neville.
"If you asked any player from the Chelsea team what they would like to see back, they would all say Matic. Bakayoko is not the player who can hold the center of the field. They didn't replace Matic. I wouldn't have let him out of the building. I would have locked him to the walls of the training field," said P. Neville.
