"Boca Juniors" director Marcelo London revealed that on Tuesday the Argentine club will be joined by "Southampton" striker Pablo Osvaldo.
The Italian born in South America spent the first part of this season on loan at Milano's "Inter", but after a few incidents, the "nerazzurri" deemed him unnecessary.
The striker arrived in Buenos Aires already on Sunday.
"Osvaldo will sign a contract on Tuesday," - said London. "As soon as that happens, we can officially confirm him as a Boca Juniors player."
It is believed that Osvaldo will be loaned to the Argentine team until June, but the contract will include a clause allowing the striker to help Boca Juniors in the Copa Libertadores tournament for another month.
The 29-year-old footballer, for whom Southampton paid 15 million euros, was a record purchase for the "Saints", but after a scuffle with Jose Fonte, his chances of staying in England became uncertain.
