"Napoli" goalkeeper Pepe Reina believes his teammate Arkadiusz Milik has the potential to become a footballer of the same level as his compatriot Robert Lewandowski.
Milik moved to "Napoli" from "Ajax" in Amsterdam this summer for 32 million euros and has an incredibly difficult task of replacing the departed record-breaking Italian league champion Gonzalo Higuain.
However, the striker has been demonstrating excellent form so far - he scored doubles in matches against "Milan," "Bologna," and Kiev's "Dynamo."
"Lewy has more experience than Milik and has won more trophies, but Arek has a great future ahead of him," Reina told the official UEFA website.
"I am sure that he will quickly become a key player for 'Napoli.' It won't be easy for him to reach Lewandowski's level, but he has the potential for it."
"They are separated by six or seven years, so I think Arek must be patient. When he matures more and reaches the age of 25 or 26, we will see what he can do."
"However, I have no doubt that he will do well at 'Napoli' and he will not stop improving both as a player and as a person. I am sure he will have a fantastic career."
Last season, Milik played 31 matches in the Dutch league and scored 21 goals with eight assists.
