P. Schmeichel: "I don't understand what Pogba's role is in the "Man Utd" team"

Watching the clash between the "Manchester United" and London's "Arsenal" clubs from the stands, Peter Schmeichel doubted the importance of Paul Pogba in the "Red Devils" team.

Frenchman, like most of the "Man Utd" players, did not perform well against "Arsenal". The legendary goalkeeper said after the match that P. Pogba generally does not have a clear role in this team.

"He plays so deep in midfield that I can't even understand his role in this team," - said P. Schmeichel to "Optus Sport".

"Even when Ole made some changes and Pogba pushed up a bit, not much happened in midfield. I agree that he had two great passes, but that's not fifteen. I think he is one of the team's problems - he gets so much attention, but does little. Sometimes it seems like he's a problematic child in this team.

When you have a player who receives so much attention from the media, you want to better understand his role. Right now, I can't say what he gives to this team.

I think there are enough good players next to him, but it doesn't seem like he's looking for the ball. In the first half, it looked like he was hiding. In the second half of the match, it was slightly better.

It's obvious that he's not playing like last season. He needs to clarify what his role is in this team and how he should play with him. All the people who came to the stadium are not happy to see him play like this. You can see people's disappointment.

We saw that he can play at the highest level, but how often does it happen?" - shared his thoughts the Dane.
