Former long-time "Manchester United" player Paul Scholes expressed concern about the club. The football legend fears that the "Red Devils" team could become mediocre.
"I am worried about the team. I fear that they will go into the wilderness, like 'Liverpool' in 1990," said the Englishman.
The midfielder urged the club owners not to save money and strengthen the team with at least five capable newcomers.
"What do they lack? Five players who could turn around a desperate situation on its head.
I will be honest: I am tired of criticizing the team that has given me such an opportunity, but it finally has to make decisions," he said.
