Dortmund's "Borussia" club striker Youssoufa Moukoko's agent Patrick Williams revealed to journalist Fabrizio Romano that he hopes the player will leave the BVB team:
"Youssoufa has great potential, which unfortunately he could not show last season. The fact that he scored 5 goals in 613 minutes further proves his quality, as only a few Bundesliga players had similar stats."
The striker was promised a lot before signing the contract, but this was not fulfilled. The 19-year-old has always cared only about playing and his development; not anything else, as the media has been trying to suggest lately.
If everything were just about money, Y. Moukoko could have accepted other lucrative offers where he could earn at least three times more; it was simple.
The media always tries to portray the German as a failure: both during training and throughout the entire season. He just wants to compete and if he were asked to play, we wouldn’t have any problems.
It’s no secret that there are many teams that believe in Y. Moukoko's abilities... and want to acquire him.
I believe that "Borussia" is making a mistake by wanting to let this striker go. Everyone knows that with such limited playing time, his value will drop... and BVB may not expect a large sum for him.
We wanted things to be different, but this is the business of football. Of course, Y. Moukoko is trying not to let this get to his head and is particularly focused, so he knows what needs to be done to have a successful career.
Currently, we have offers for the German from England, France, and Spain.
Last season, Youssoufa Moukoko played 27 matches for Dortmund's "Borussia" and scored 6 goals.
