"Palermo" president Maurizio Zamparani, who this summer met with Turin's "Juventus" club to sell talented Paulo Dybala, said that the latter could become the new Lionel Messi.
The 21-year-old footballer strengthened the Italian champions this summer for a sum of 32 million euros. The chief "Bianconeri" coach Massimiliano Allegri currently maintains that the Argentine striker still needs to grow as a player, but M. Zamparani disagrees.
"If anyone still needs to grow at 'Juventus', it's the coach, not Dybala," said "Palermo" president. - Allegri is like many Italian coaches who think they have a lot of influence on the game, but do not understand that a young player needs to be given freedom."
"I defend Dybala, because I've never seen such a strong player in the 'Palermo' club. In two or three years, he could become the new Messi," - concluded M. Zamparani.
P. Dybala has already made his debut in official matches and scored his first goal wearing the "Juve" jersey.
