"Palermo" president: priority for P.Dybala will be given to "Juventus" club

„Palermo“ club president Maurizio Zamparini gives priority to Turin „Juventus“ among many interested in acquiring the young Paulo Dybala.

On Tuesday, the Italian, speaking with journalists, admitted to previous relationships with the player himself, who refused to extend his contract valid until 2016, so he will be sold this summer.

Journalists from the Turin-based daily „Tuttosport“ wasted no time in interviewing the eccentric president of Palermo about the possible transfer of the Argentine to the Piedmont capital.

„I can assure you that there were no contacts with representatives of „Napoli“, but we maintain a relationship with Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta,“ claimed M. Zamparini.

„He called me and said: „Mr. President, if you decide to sell him, „Juve“ is ready to start negotiations. We are very interested in your guy“. I replied that if I can, I will sell. I want Dybala to stay in Italy“.

M. Zamparini also noted that giving priority in negotiations for the young talent will not guarantee discounts, as the Italian received inquiries about the sale of the Argentine from some of the strongest European clubs.

This season, P. Dybala played 21 official matches, scored 11 goals, and made 6 assists.

It is worth mentioning that London's „Arsenal“ club is also vying for the talented Argentine's signature.
