Greek super club Olympiacos from Athens, preparing for the UEFA Champions League qualifying round, continues to strengthen its safe line. Just a few days ago, they lured Croatian Igor Biščan from Liverpool, and now the club has attracted a Brazilian.
The 31-year-old football player, arriving for a sum of 500 thousand euros, comes from the Turkish super club Galatasaray in Istanbul, where he spent just a year. The defensive midfielder, who represented the Brazilian national team 48 times, signed a three-year contract with Panathinaikos.
In 2000, the Brazilian became a Spanish champion with Deportivo La Coruña, and after moving to Real Madrid for the following two years, he also won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League winner's medal in 2002. Later, before moving to Turkey, F. Conceicao spent a year at Borussia Dortmund on loan.
