Panevėžio "Ekranas" will face Israel's vice-champion Tel Aviv "Hapoel" club for a ticket to the UEFA Europa League group stage.
The Lithuanian champions will play the first match on August 18 in Panevėžys, and a week later they will travel to Israel.
The team from Panevėžys could also face Bilbao "Athletic", Salonika PAOK, London "Tottenham", and Moscow "Spartak".
"Hapoel" finished last season just five points behind the champion Maccabi Haifa in the national championships. The new season will start right after the first matches on August 20. The team is coached by the experienced 66-year-old specialist Droras Kashtanas, who also led the Israeli national team for four years (2006-2010).
According to a 2010 survey, "Hapoel" is the least favorite club in their country.
Meanwhile, Edinburgh "Hearts" owned by Lithuanian businessman Vladimir Romanov will face one of the top five English Premier League teams "Tottenham", while Rome's "Lazio", where Lithuanian Marius Stankevičius plays, will meet Skopje's "Rabotnicki" from Romania.
