Another match of the 19th round of the "TOPsport A Lyga" took place in Panevėžys, where the local team defeated the visitors from Alytus for the first time this season. The Panevėžys team scored a couple of quick goals at the beginning of the match, as it turned out later, it was enough - the result was 2:0 (2:0) against Alytus DFK "Dainava".

The start of the game was very successful for the home team - Renatas Banevičius played hand in hand, Nikolas Gorobsovas did not miss from the penalty spot in the 9th minute, and just a few minutes later Ernestas Veliulis doubled the score after a ball from Noel Mbo. Federico Palacios also took a tricky shot, but the ball passed next to the goal.

In the middle of the first half, Dmytro Mandryčenko shot towards the near post, but his attempt was blocked. Half an hour into the game, "Panevėžys" received bad news - Kasparas Dubra had to leave the field due to injury.

At the beginning of the second half, Davoras Rakičius shot wide, Chibuike Nwosu tried his luck from distance, but missed the target, and Ode Abdullahi's long-range shot flew over the goal. In the 81st minute, N. Gorobsovas took a dangerous penalty shot, but failed to score.

After the 19th round, both teams did not change their positions - "Panevėžys" remains last with 18 points, while Dainava with 21 points is sixth in the standings.
