The champion of the "TOPsport A league," "Panevėžys," did not win their sixth match in a row. The 28th round match away against Alytaus DFK "Dainava" ended in a draw 1:1.

The guests managed to take the lead quickly. In the penalty area, Maksymas Maksymenka fouled Sivertas Gussias – the penalty was converted by Amine‘as Benchaibas in the 8th minute.

"Dainava" soon responded with a dangerous shot from Artiomas Baftalovskis, which was saved by Vytautas Černiauskas, and a corner kick, where Davoras Rakičius headed the ball into the crossbar. Linas Klimavičius also shot straight at Airidas Mickevičius during a set piece.

The players from Panevėžys also responded with attempts by A. Benchaibas and Ernesto Veliulis, but they could not endure. In the 44th minute, after a shot from Gusto Zabitas, the ball ricocheted off Jovanas Čadženovičius and found its way into the net.

After the break, the teams did not create many threatening episodes. During a counterattack, D. Rakičius shot straight at Vytautas Černiauskas, and at the very end of the encounter, A. Mickevičius beautifully saved his team after a shot from Cheikhou Dieng.
