„TOPsport A lygos“ champion football club „Panevėžys“ celebrated victory in the fourth friendly match. Trained by Gino Lettieri in the Marijampolė football arena, the team 2:1 (2:1) defeated Daugavpils BFC „Daugavpils“ eleven.

The beginning of the match did not go well for the Panevėžys team. After an inaccurate pass near their own goal, the opponent had a good opportunity to score in the 1st minute and took advantage of it.

Later, „Panevėžys“ picked up the pace - Matijus Remeikis shot off target, and after a beautiful combination, Kwadwo Asamoah's attempt was stopped by the goalkeeper. However, in the 32nd minute, Ghanaian legionnaire Jeffrey Sarpongo converted a pass into a goal with his head.
