PAOK owner threatened to shoot the match referee

Scandals ended with a Sunday match of the Greek football championship between PAOK from Thessaloniki and AEK from Athens, wrote lrytas.lt.

Playing at home, PAOK tried to defeat the league leader AEK, but the game was interrupted in the added time by the referee when a gun-wielding Russian businessman and PAOK owner Ivan Savvidis stormed onto the field, almost causing a brawl.

The Russian businessman with a gun interrupted the match in the 7th minute of added time. Before that, the football match referee Giorgios Kaminos disallowed PAOK's goal, detecting an offside.

I. Savvidis stormed onto the field trying to show off the gun he had on his belt, but his security personnel calmed him down and prevented him from doing so. "You are a corpse", "You have a bullet already", - shouted the PAOK owner to the referee.
