Paraguay's national team goalkeeper Justo Villar will most likely no longer participate in the World Cup - during the match against England's national team, which Paraguay lost 1-0, in the 8th minute the player was forced to leave the field due to injury and will not be able to play for at least a couple of weeks.

Newell's Old Boys' club goalkeeper J. Villar injured his calf muscle when he collided with the ball while diving to block a shot from Michael Owen. The injured player was replaced on the field by Paraguay's substitute goalkeeper Aldo Bobadilla.

"The information I received from the team doctors was that he will not be able to play for about two weeks, and most likely even three," - Paraguay's head coach Anibal Ruiz told journalists.

Bobadilla, who ran onto the field, saved his team several times from dangerous opponent shots and helped the team continue to fight to avoid a loss against England. It is now clear that he will be Paraguay's main goalkeeper in the matches against Trinidad and Tobago and Sweden.
