Paranoia? J. Mourinho blames I. Casillas for De Gea's poor performance in the national team

Although Iker Casillas has not worn the national team gloves for over two years, Jose Mourinho is convinced that behind all the criticism received by David De Gea from the Spanish media, lies the "Porto" goalkeeper.

Recently, I. Casillas gave an interview mentioning that "El Clasico" had turned into a political war when Jose Mourinho led the Madrid "Real" team, sparking yet another spark of discord between the Portuguese and the Spaniard.

J. Mourinho, stating that "all these conversations come from a man approaching the end of his career," now claims that the Spanish media is biased against De Gea and blames I. Casillas for it.

"Why is De Gea being criticized in Spain? You really don't know? It's because a very strong force (Casillas) is trying to come back to the national team, but it's not easy to return when you have the world's best goalkeeper against you," said J. Mourinho.

It is well known that the first time the relationship between J. Mourinho and I. Casillas turned sour was in 2012.
