Legendary Italian football club "Parma" failed to rescue from debts - the highest court in the country confirmed that the club went bankrupt and will be forced to compete in the fourth division of Italian league.
"Parma" in the 2013-14 season of "Serie A" championship finished in sixth place and earned the right to play in the UEFA Europa League, but due to financial difficulties they did not participate in this tournament. Moreover, in the "Serie A" championship that season they finished in last place.
It is announced that "Parma" will have to play in the "Serie D" championship from the next season, and the club status will change from professional to amateur.
It is worth reminding that due to financial difficulties, "Parma" in that season was unable to pay salaries to their players and staff.
