Parts of the plane that flew E. Salâ found in France: underwater search has begun

Continuing search for missing football player Emiliano Sala's plane, which disappeared at the beginning of last week, finally yielded the first results. However, they did not bring joy to the Argentinean's relatives. It is reported that two seat cushion parts were found on the French coast, most likely from the plane that crashed into the sea near the Alderney island. However, they were found not by the search teams, but by French citizens. Due to these findings, the search area was significantly narrowed - from now on, Sala's plane will only be searched for underwater in a four square nautical mile area. It is worth noting that the plane, which was carrying the Argentinean player and pilot David Ibbotson, disappeared last Monday, when the player, who had signed a contract with the Welsh club playing in the Premier League, was flying from Nantes to Great Britain. Although the search for the plane was intensively conducted in the first few days, after a few fruitless days it was suspended. "The chances of them being rescued are extremely slim. This information was conveyed to the families of the pilot and passengers. Our thoughts are with the families of the missing at this difficult time," said Guernsey airport captain David Barker at that time. However, soon over 300 thousand euros were raised online for Sala's family to finance a private search around the islands of Normandy. Among those urging to resume the search were Argentine football legends Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona.
