The Bolivian first division football club "Sport Boys" announced a special contract. Next season, the country's president Evo Morales will play for this club.

The 54-year-old Bolivian president will play in a defensive position and will play about 20 minutes in each match. However, the president himself will choose in which matches he wants to play.

He will be paid a minimum wage of 214 US dollars (about 540 litas) for his performance in the team.

"Sport Boys" club president Mario Cronenbold stated that the president is a big football fan: "He loves football and plays really well. He will wear a jersey with the number ten on it. We will send him the match schedule and he will choose in which matches he wants to play."

Previously, Evo Morales has played several exhibition matches with journalists, union representatives, and other presidents.
