Passionate "Copa America" final - Brazilian triumph

In the 2019 South American Football Championship, the final was reached - on Sunday late in the evening the tournament final took place, where the host Brazil faced the Peru national team.

In the passionate final, which also saw a red card, the Brazilian national team became the South American champions for the ninth time in their country's history.

In the 15th minute, Everton put Brazil ahead after a pass from Gabriel Jesus. However, in the 44th minute, Thiago Silva handled the ball in his penalty area and Peru equalized the score with a precise penalty kick. This was the first goal conceded by Brazil in this tournament.

The Peru national team hoped to go into halftime with this result, but in added time G. Jesus, after receiving a precise pass from Arthur, scored and regained the lead.

In the second half, the same G. Jesus scored from the other side - the young Brazilian had to leave the field in the 70th minute when the referee showed a rather controversial second yellow card. The "Man City" forward almost damaged the VAR equipment in his anger.

Even with ten remaining Brazilians, the Peru national team was not given much hope. Tite's men played confidently in defense and even received a penalty kick in the 90th minute. Richarlison struck accurately, and the Brazilians celebrated victory with a score of 3:1.
