PC selection: England defeated Malta, Germans defeated Czechs (VIDEO)

Yesterday evening, nine World Cup qualification matches were played in the European division.

English footballers finished their match against Malta at home without surprises and celebrated a victory with a score of 2-0. Dele Alli and Daniel Sturridge stood out among the students of interim coach Gareth Southgate.

In another match, one of the opponents of the Lithuanian national team, Slovenia, defeated Slovakia 1-0. Rokas Kronaveteris was the author of the winning goal.

Meanwhile, the Norwegian national team experienced an unexpected defeat on the road, losing by a narrow margin of 1-0 to Azerbaijan, which extended their lead to three points with a goal from Maksikas Medvedyev.

In all three matches in Group E, five goals were scored - Romania and Montenegro celebrated 5-0 victories over Armenia and Kazakhstan respectively, and the Polish national team defeated the Danish team 3-2 after a fierce battle.

In less than 50 minutes, Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick, but shortly after Kamil Glik scored an own goal, and Youssuf Poulsen brought the Danes closer to a draw. However, the Poles maintained their lead.

Germany, the 2014 World Cup champions, crushed the Czech national team 3-0 at home. Thomas Muller, who scored a double, led the winners to victory, while Toni Kroos added another goal.
