London's "Chelsea" played a 2-2 draw with "Bournemouth" on Saturday and further complicated their position in the battle for a place in the top four.
Truth be told, the "aristocrats" could have even lost the match, as "Bournemouth" was leading until the 85th minute, but Marcos Alonso's goal allowed the London team to at least secure a point.
After the match, "Chelsea" forward Pedro didn't hide his disappointment at missing the opportunity to improve their position in the tournament table.
"In the first half, we played very well, created opportunities, and controlled the game. However, in the second half, the opponents had two chances and scored two goals. In the end, Alonso leveled it, but we didn't take the chance to get closer to 'Leicester'.
We're disappointed because we played really well, created enough opportunities, but only managed to secure one point. We need to continue improving our game and bounce back from this setback," Pedro said after the match.
