The club has extended its contract with head coach Manuel Pellegrini for another two years.
The Chilean took over the team last November, replacing Portuguese coach Jesualdo Ferreira.
He managed to help the team rise from 18th place in the league table to 11th.
Now, Malaga's ambitions are even greater: the team has already been reinforced with high-level players such as Joaquin, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Joris Mathijsen, and Jeremy Toulalan. A few more famous players may also join them.
