Madrid's "Real" defender Pepe disagrees that he is an aggressive player and suggests paying attention to how many cards the "Barcelona" star Neymar has earned this season.
During his career, the Portuguese has been involved in more than one incident - for example, in the 2008-2009 season, for stepping on "Getafe" player Javier Casquero, he was punished with a 10-match suspension. In addition, the defender has been several times on the bench for his actions against "Barcos" players.
However, this season in over 20 played "La Liga" matches, Pepe has earned only five warnings, while Neymar received a yellow card in 31 games several times.
"People can say whatever they want, but the fact remains that Neymar has been warned more times than me," the 33-year-old veteran told Surface.
"Madrid's 'Real' is an exemplary club. If I were a hothead and aggressive player, I would never have had the opportunity to represent it for such a long time."
Pepe joined the "royal" club in 2007 and has been defending its honor for almost nine years.
