Yesterday's crucial European Championship match in Group F ended in a 2-2 draw between Portugal and the world champions France. The result could have been different if the Portuguese goalkeeper Rui Patricio had listened to his teammate Pepe's advice. With Portugal leading 1-0, Karim Benzema stepped up to take a penalty kick and Pepe, knowing his former long-time teammate from Real Madrid well, whispered to his national team colleague which way the ball would go. However, R. Patricio decided to ignore the advice, which turned out to be correct. Pepe, who witnessed this, could not hide his emotions.
