Porto veteran Pepe contributed to a very important team victory on Tuesday with a goal against Antwerp footballers in the UEFA Champions League.

At the age of 40, the Portuguese player also entered the tournament records book and became the oldest player to score a goal in the Champions League.

Pepe did this at the age of 40 years and 254 days.

Until now, the record belonged to Roma legend Francesco Totti, who had scored at the age of 38 years and 59 days.
