The main competitor of the FIFA computer football simulator series, "Pro Evolution Soccer", developed by the company "Konami", has decided to make some serious changes. On Wednesday, it was announced that from now on, the PES series will be called "eFootball" and will be free for players on all platforms. The company will also stop distributing physical copies of the game and move everything to the digital space. The game will no longer be released annually, but will receive regular updates. "Konami" also announced the game's release plan, consisting of several main parts. In early autumn, the game is expected to be released with nine teams, including European giants like "Bayern", "Manchester United", "Barcelona", and "Arsenal". Later on, an update will be released that will allow players to build their dream team and compete with other players from around the world. At the same time, a single-player career mode will be introduced. Interestingly, in "eFootball" online matches, owners of different platforms will be able to compete, including those playing on their mobile devices. "Konami" also promises various tournaments and other innovations for fans of the series. The exact release date of the game is not yet clear.
