Munich's Bayern clubs strategist Pep Guardiola does not attach importance to the defeat in a friendly match.
In Saturday's match, the Red Bull team from Salzburg crushed the champions of Europe and Germany at home, but the Bavarian coach insists that there were tactical innovations in this match that he wanted to try out.
"I made tactical changes because I wanted to have another player in the middle of the field. We tried a system with three defenders. We did this for ball control," commented the 43-year-old coach on his tactical decisions.
"We have to use friendly matches for such things, that's what they are for. We cannot experiment during the season."
"However, when you are three goals behind after the first half, the coach is angry and the players have to come to terms with it," said the Spaniard.
The Bundesliga championship returns next weekend. Bayern will face Borussia Mönchengladbach away on Friday.
