It seems that Arsene Wenger will not be destined to become the coach of Bayern Munich.
Bild journalist Christian Falk reported that Bayern club declined the possibility of inviting the Frenchman, even though Wenger himself had shown interest in the position.
According to the journalist, the Frenchman, currently in Doha hosting sports shows for BeIN Sports, contacted Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge on Wednesday evening to inquire about the possibility of his services.
The response he received from the 70-year-old strategist was negative.
Falk emphasizes that Bayern appreciates Wenger and his work at Arsenal London, but does not see him as a candidate.
Currently, the interim coach of the Bavarian team is Hans-Dieter Flick.
