Long-standing tension between Russia and Ukraine reached a military point on Thursday night when Vladimir Putin ordered military action in the neighboring country. European and world leaders are actively applying sanctions to Russia and its businesses, while the German media giant "Bild" expressed support for Ukraine in its own way. "Bild" started replacing the logo of the "Gazprom" sponsors of the Schalke team in their publications and on their website with the message: "Freedom for Ukraine". The Russian company "Gazprom" has been cooperating with the German club since 2007.
