The club's sporting director Beppe Marotta denies rumors that the team might be joined by the defender Andrea Pirlo.
The experienced footballer's contract with the Milan team will expire in the summer, so he will be a free agent.
"There is no truth in these rumors," Marotta said.
He also confirmed that negotiations are ongoing for a new contract with veteran Alessandro Del Piero, and one of the main tasks will be to buy out the contract of "Liverpool"-owned midfielder Alberto Aquilani.
