UEFA President Michel Platini admitted that he wants to see Madrid and Barcelona duel in the Champions League final.
In the first leg of the round of 16, Barcelona defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-1 and is already one foot in the strongest eight, while Real Madrid, after a 1-1 draw in Moscow against CSKA, will have to prove their advantage at home.
"Who will play in the final? There are teams from England and Italy..." - said Platini on Canal Plus. "So I can't answer, but a match between Real Madrid and Barcelona would be truly amazing."
The Frenchman also praised the Royal Club: "We can consider this team as a creator of modern football: they have won the European Cup five times in a row, have a mythical prestige, a unique ideology... it's true magic."
