On Wednesday, five more UEFA Champions League knockout stage matches took place.
The Moscow "Spartak" players reached the most important tournament on the Old Continent by withstanding the pressure from Istanbul's "Fenerbahce" and eliminating the Turkish team with an overall result of 3-2 from two matches.
"Gladbach" was close to a small miracle, but they failed to overturn a painful defeat suffered last week in front of their own fans, losing 1-3 to Kyiv's "Dynamo" club - the Germans achieved a 2-1 victory in Ukraine satisfying the hosts.
"Lille" avenged themselves in extra time against the "Copenhagen" players and, along with Glasgow "Celtic" and Cluj's CFR, advanced to the Champions League.
The group stage draw will take place today at 18:45 Lithuanian time.
