Players' Union and Major Leagues submitted FIFA to the European Commission

Football players have finally spoken up about an issue they've wanted to address for a long time. 

The World Players' Union (FIFPRO) and major European leagues collectively lodged a legal complaint with the European Commission regarding FIFA's actions. 

FIFA is accused of abuse of power and conflicts of interest. 

One of the reasons for this is the FIFA Club World Cup, which is set to take place in early summer 2025. Not all players want to participate in it, and clubs don't have much of a choice.

Football players have been threatening to strike for some time. This is a certain first step towards that.
