German national team forward Lukas Podolski intends to represent the club next season as well.
After two seasons representing Bayern Munich, the footballer returned to his hometown, where the team currently holds only the 14th place in the national championship.
Nevertheless, Podolski does not plan any changes: "I feel good in Cologne. This is my club, my city. If the decision will be solely up to me, I will stay for the next season as well."
When asked which country he would like to move to if he were to leave Cologne after all, the forward said: "I don't want to be arrogant, but I would definitely fit in with one of the big clubs in England or Spain."
Throughout this season, he scored twelve goals in 29 matches.
