Vice President Adriano Galliani admitted that the club is interested in the possibility of acquiring German national team striker Lukas Podolski, but only if Klaas Jan Huntelaar leaves the team.

"Rossoneri" have been looking for a new striker for some time. It was said that this position could be strengthened by Luis Fabiano or Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but now, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, attention is focused on the 12 million euro-rated "Koln" player Podolski.

"Podolski will be acquired only if Huntelaar moves to one of the English clubs and opens up such an opportunity for us," Galliani said.

Huntelaar has attracted the interest of teams such as Birmingham's "Aston Villa" and London's "Tottenham."
