One of the richest athletes in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo, has purchased the most expensive car in the world. The Portuguese athlete paid 11 million euros for the "Bugatti La Voiture Noire" model, which has a power of 1,500 horsepower and can reach speeds of up to 420 km/h, wrote the Spanish newspaper "Marca".
This sports car is the fastest means of transportation in the world that can participate in traffic. However, that is not its only feature: "La Voiture Noire" ("The Black Car") is a unique model, with every part being handmade. The car is based on the legendary "Type 57 SC Atlantic" model, one of the manufacturer's most beloved objects in the fourth decade.
Nevertheless, C. Ronaldo will have to wait at least one and a half years before he can sit behind the wheel of his dream car. It will not be produced before 2021. So far, only its prototype has been presented.
''Bugatti'' created this sports car to celebrate its 110th anniversary. According to the media, the French company confirmed that they already have a buyer but did not disclose that it was C. Ronaldo.
