During the 2024 European Championship qualification match that took place on Thursday evening, the Portuguese footballers defeated the Liechtenstein team in Group J with a score of 4:0.
The first goal of the match was scored in the 8th minute. Joao Cancelo put the hosts in the lead.
The remaining goals for Portugal came in the second half. Bernardo Silva scored in the 47th minute, and Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace in the 51st and 63rd minutes.
This victory allows the Portuguese national team to secure the first place in the group immediately.
