In the final repetition before the 2022 World Championship in Qatar, Portugal crushed the Nigerian footballers at home with a score of 4-0.
The first goals of the match came in the first half. In the 9th minute, after a pass from Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes sent the ball into the net.
In the 35th minute, the Portuguese doubled their lead. Bruno Fernandes confidently converted a penalty kick from 11 meters and scored a double.
At the end of the match, Nigeria had a golden opportunity to score, but Emmanuel Dennis failed to convert an 11-meter penalty, and to make matters worse, a few moments later the visitors missed two more goals.
In the 82nd minute, Goncalo Ramos scored, and a few minutes later Joao Mario added his own goal.
Portugal will play their first match at the World Cup on November 24. They will face Ghana in Group H.
