Although Paulo Dybala remains confident that everything will go smoothly, negotiations for a new contract with Turin's Juventus had to be postponed once again.
The Italian champions want to reward the forward for his excellent performances since he joined the team from Palermo, while also reducing the chances of the Argentine being tempted by offers from other clubs.
The 23-year-old Argentine is considered one of the most talented players in the world in his position.
"My agent had to return to Argentina because his son was born," Dybala said.
"This means we will have to wait a little longer, but I remain optimistic that the contract will be renewed."
"It depends not only on what I want, but we also have to listen to Juventus."
Currently, Dybala's future with the bianconeri is tied until 2020.
