Diego Simeone admitted that Madrid's "Atletico" team were lucky in the match against "Barcelona".
The team coached by the Argentine scored two goals in the very end of the match and achieved victory with a score of 3:2. D. Simeone did not spare praise for the Catalans after the match.
"Barcelona" is one step ahead of all other teams," the coach stated. "They are one of the best in the world, but matches are played until the very last moment."
"I think we deserve to go further and compete for the tournament trophy," added the Argentine.
The "Atletico" team will face a final match against Madrid's "Real" club. D. Simeone watched the opponent's semifinal and admitted that they are currently in good form.
"Real" performed excellently against "Valencia" and proved that it is possible to play attacking football even with five defenders. They came here to win, have an extra day of rest, and undoubtedly difficult matches await us," concluded the "Atletico" coach.
