On Saturday, the matches of the 5th round of the English Premier League were played.
In London, "Arsenal" clashed with "Aston Villa" away. Arsene Wenger's pupils easily defeated the hosts with a score of 3-0.
All goals were scored in the first half, and it took the "Gunners" just four minutes to do so. The first goal was scored by Mesut Ozil, after a great pass from Danny Welbeck.
Just two minutes later, D. Welbeck also scored, with a precise pass from M. Ozil. The final blow was dealt in the 36th minute, when the opponents scored an own goal.
Southampton also celebrated victory, as they narrowly defeated Swansea. The other three matches ended in draws.
In the last match, West Ham players punished Brendan Rodgers' pupils in front of their own fans. Liverpool players lost to the hosts with a score of 1-3.
Winston Reid scored two quick goals in the 2nd and 7th minutes. Raheem Sterling managed to reduce the gap in the 26th minute, but at the end of the match, Morgan Amalfitano sealed the victory for West Ham with a two-goal difference.
After the defeat, Liverpool dropped to 9th place. For now, Chelsea remains at the top of the Premier League standings.
