Yesterday (08.24) evening, four matches of the English "Premier" League were played. After them, the leader changed once again - "Chelsea" club became the leader, winning the third consecutive match.
Managed by J. Mourinho, the London team did not leave any hopes for the "West Bromvich" club at home, defeating them 4-0. The hosts took the lead in the 22nd minute, when Frank Lampard sent the ball into the net from 15 meters. Later, Joe Cole, Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard, who scored the second goal, also stood out in the ranks of "Chelsea".
England's vice-champions "Arsenal" defeated the 16th-placed "Fulham" club 4-1. However, the match was not so easy for the "Gunners". At the beginning of the match, Lauren failed to score from an 11-meter penalty, and in the 22nd minute the guests took the lead when Jens Lehmann was defeated by Claus Jensen with a precise shot from the left corner of the field.
The advantage for the guests was short-lived - in the 32nd minute defender Pascal Cygan restored the balance after a pass from Dennis Bergkamp from the corner.
