Yesterday in the English Premier League there were two more matches of the thirteenth round. In them, the favorites celebrated victories: "Man Utd" defeated "Newcastle", and "Middlesbrough" beat "W.B.A.".
"Man Utd" away victory was determined by two goals from W.Rooney and R.van Nistelrooy's successful penalty kick. By the way, in the 71st minute the veteran A.Shearer equalized the score.
Meanwhile, the "W.B.A." club at home could not resist against the league cup finalists "Middlesbrough" players. In the 32nd minute, the guests broke through, when "W.B.A." defender D.Purse scored an own goal. Just five minutes later, R.Earnshaw equalized the score, but at the beginning of the second half, the Dutchman B.Zenden turned the score around again.
