"Cardiff City" footballers who made their way to the highest division of English football have been reinforced. The Welsh club officially announced the acquisition of 20-year-old forward Andreas Cornelius from Danish club "Copenhagen", which was also of interest to "Fulham" and "Aston Villa" clubs. The official transfer fee is not disclosed, but according to media reports, "Cardiff City" paid 8.7 million euros for him. Last season, in the highest Danish league, A.Cornelius scored 18 goals in 32 matches. The Copenhagen team also participated in the Europa League tournament, where the forward scored once.
