„The leaders of the “Premier“ League are considering temporarily suspending the competition. As TV2 journalist Peras Karlsen wrote, there are currently plans circulating to impose a mandatory 10-14 day break in the English championship. This would result in a very high incidence of coronavirus among both players and fans. Just last week, 42 footballers contracted COVID-19, and record numbers of cases are being recorded among the general population throughout England. The coronavirus has particularly affected teams like „Man Utd“, „Tottenham“, „Norwich“, „Watford“ and „Leicester“.
