At 14:30 Lithuania time, the first match of the 21st round of the English Premier League was played.
At the "White Hart Lane" stadium, London's Tottenham fought against West Brom for victory. The impressive form of the Spurs players left no hope for their opponents - they celebrated a 4-0 win.
From the very first minute of the match, Tottenham dominated possession and created dangerous attacks. In the 12th minute, the first goal of the match was scored - after a great pass from Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane sent the ball into the top corner of the goal.
Tottenham's dominance continued, and in the 26th minute, the visitors were forced to pull the ball out of their net for the second time - C. Eriksen's shot deflected off opponent Gareth McAuley and ended up in the goal.
Throughout the rest of the first half, Tottenham had three more dangerous chances, but West Brom's Ben Foster kept them at bay with some excellent saves.
In the second half, West Brom tried to get back into the game, but in the 77th minute, the final blow was dealt when H. Kane scored a great goal after a pass from Kyle Walker.
The same Englishman scored another successful shot five minutes later, adding three more goals to his tally. Tottenham celebrated their 13th victory of the season and temporarily climbed to second place.
West Brom remained in eighth place with 29 points.
