"Premier" league: "West Ham" was crushed in front of their fans (VIDEO)

On Friday, the 9th round of the English Premier League started, with the first matches played.

West Ham hosted Brighton. Slaven Bilic's team suffered a tough lesson from the league newcomers - experiencing a crushing defeat with a score of 3-0.

The "Hammers" conceded the first goal in the 10th minute - Glenn Murray. Brighton managed to score a crucial second goal just at the end of the first half, and then Jose Izquierdo had his say.

In the second half, West Ham tried to recover from the situation, but Brighton played very reliably in defense and capitalized on their created opportunities almost perfectly.

The final point was put in the 75th minute by the scorer of the first goal, G. Murray - the 34-year-old forward scored from the penalty spot.

After the victory, Brighton moved up to the 10th position, while West Ham is close to the relegation zone in 17th place.
