"Barcelona" club president Jose Bartomeu is not discouraged by the failure in the King's Cup.
The Catalan team has already withdrawn from two tournaments this season in the fight for the title - earlier they lost the Supercup, and on Thursday they lost to Athletic Bilbao in the quarterfinals of the King's Cup.
After the match, club president J. Bartomeu spoke to the media, reassuring that the players and coach have the full trust of the leadership.
"The players gave their all and showed great dedication. With this attitude, we can achieve a lot," said J. Bartomeu.
"It's a pity for such a loss, as the opponents won with their only shot. However, we need to focus on La Liga, as we have a match against Real Betis coming up.
The work done by the team last night really left a great impression on me. I have full confidence in the coaching staff and players, who are ready to fight until the end both in the Spanish championship and in the Champions League," added the "Barca" leader.
